Mako Sharks

Catching sharks is a risky venture at any time, and targeting Mako sharks
in Bass Strait even more so. In Bass Strait - the passage of water between
the island state of Tasmania and mainland Australia - the crazy Tasmanians
catch ridiculously large sharks fishing in small trailer boats.

Peter Morse joins some local shark fishermen and uses fly and game tackle
to hook into some big angry toothy game fish . Turns out the Tasmanians
really know what they are doing and he experiences some great fishing.
